I wish I could just commit to a color besides black lol

Just go for it! I recently dyed my hair almost this exact colour and I'm a shade darker than Ms. Union. I think it looks great and it's great for the summer. If you don't like it you can always dye it back...
def. do it, Ciara is sporting a similar colour( well a bit more blonde) at the moment,and I'm eager to get mine done this colour!
