Hollywood's biggest night, The Oscars were held last night in L.A. If
commercials are to the super bowl it is then most definite that The
Oscars is all about the dress! Some of our favorite stars dazzled, while
some fizzled in fashion failure.
The HAUTE List!
These
starlets shone on the red carpet last night. Michelle Williams rocked
the seasons trend with a peplum gown. I loved the red against her skin.
Angelina (who can do no wrong in my book) looked smashing in black. Talk
about a risque split, it personally gave me everything (lol). I am
weirdly attracted to Gwyneth Paltrow's dress. I almost did not include
her on my list but I kept coming back to her. I think I am attracted to
the cleanness of her gown. Emma Stone kept it romantic and flirty. I
simply LOVED this dress. Octavia Spencer dress fit like perfection and
hugged her in all the right places. The dress itself had just the right
amount of bling that brought out a subtle sexiness to it.
The NOT List!
These
woman were knee deep in unfashionable territory last night. When I saw
Sherry Shepard all that came to mind was Princess Jasimen...gone wrong. I
think if the bottom would've been flowy it may have worked. (emphasis
on may) It kills me to have Meryl on this list because she is indeed
Hollywood royalty, but the fit just made her look frumpy. Sandra
Bullock's gown looked great from the waist down. The top of the dress
fit horribly and aged her. Melissa Leo one word matronly. (on Easter
Sunday...hello)
Who made your Haute or Not list?
I'd love to hear from you :)

I liked Angelina's look in theory. I like the look but hated her leg. I'm all about the super skinny but it looked weird.
