On Thursday I went with Jess and Max to April's (MyDCStyle) fall preview event at the Dior Boutique in Chevy Chase! I must admit that I never really thought much of Dior. I thought Dior stood for gaudy and over the top a la the monogrammed saddle bag. But boy was I wrong!
All of the pieces were stunning and well constructed. I learned that M. Dior was not only an architect but an esteemed gardener as well. His love for both architecture and gardening are often referenced in the house's clothing. M. Dior believed the flower held the perfect silhouette and was once quoted as saying "I make flower woman".
I seriously lusted over everything I saw. Dior has won me over without a doubt. Once gain thank you April! I thoroughly enjoyed the event.
I was clearly overwhelmed by all the lux and beauty. (LOL)
I wore a ZARA lace blouse, H&M pencil skirt, and I finally wore my Sam Edlemen shoes!
