Last Thursday LP invited me to an R&B show at the Howard Theater and it was just what I needed. With everything that is going on in the world lately, my heart has been a little heavy and I wanted to vibe to some good music. When BOOMscat hit the stage my ears perked up. Their sound is mellow and sexy. Like, blast on Sunday morning clean up sessions sexy. Not only do they have a dope sound they are also fellow body roll enthusiasts (who doesn't like a good body roll?). My favorite song off of their current EP No Life Jacket is Private Show.
